Eminent Domain For Wal-Mart In LA

Don't say bloggers didn't warn you. Several told you to work locally to protect yourself from eminent domain when the Connecticut city of New London vs Susette Kelo went before the US Supreme Court which ruled the city could take Kelo's land under eminent domain.

But they didn't listen in Los Angeles. And now several urban farmers are losing the land they farm because Wal-Mart wants it.

If its not too late, here's a resource to help fight Wal-Mart.

For those of you outside California, here's a resource for you.

This via Boing Boing which has links to the farm's website, a copy of the eviction notice and the mayor.s email address.
