Wal-Mart To Stock Plan Be Emergency Contraceptive

This just in from TIME online.
Wal-Mart, a company better known for its conservative sensibilities, handed a victory to (sic) pro-abortion-rights groups today with its decision to begin stocking the Plan B emergency contraceptive, also known as the “morning-after pill,” in all of its 4,000 pharmacies in the U.S., starting March 20.

What I don't understand is why The article says it is a victory to pro-abortion-rights groups. First of all, I hate that term. They are pro-choice groups. Back to my question. If this medicine is an emergency contraceptive, how can it be an abortive medicine?

Just because some fudamentalists say taking the medication causes an abortion doesn't make it so. The medicine does inhibit a fertilized egg from implanting itself in the uterus, which the article does mention, but go read Merriam-Webster's definition. Without implantation there can be no abortion.
