Bush spoke - Bush lied

So where's this "new direction" or "fresh perspectives" or "new approach" the idiot says is needed?
President George W. Bush, searching for a new approach in Iraq, expressed little enthusiasm on Monday for seeking Syrian and Iranian help to calm Iraq as he also cautioned Democrats against quick U.S. troop reductions.

Bush, who has stated a need for "fresh perspectives" on Iraq after his Republican Party received a drubbing in last week's midterm congressional elections, met at the White House on Monday with the bipartisan Iraq Study Group, whose report in a month could offer him a change of course in Iraq.

Unrelenting violence in Iraq has added to the pressure on Bush. Through Monday night, Baghdad reported one of the highest tolls of suspected sectarian deaths in recent weeks, with the bodies of 46 people recovered, an Interior Ministry source said. A suicide bomb killed 11 Iraqis on a minibus and at least nine U.S. and British troops were reported killed in the previous two days.

Monday's violence, which also underlined Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's problems trying to curb the bloodshed, followed attacks which killed more than 100 people Sunday including a suicide attack on police recruits which killed 35 in Baghdad.

We know damn well he's using the Iraq Study Group as a dodge right now. It buys him time. When the finally report out, he'll then dismiss their findings or move around a few deck chairs. He's tied the controls on this ship of state and its nothing except "stay the course" for the next two years.

While the "decider" fiddles, hundreds (to morph into thousands) die. Great game plan ya got there dim son.

Yeh...

This Iraq study group is such a fraud.
What we are seeing is MORE of George Bush Sr.'s old partners in crime being planted into positions of great influence.

James Baker III giving advice on how to solve Iraq? Give me a fucking break. This is the guy who told Saddam to invade Kuwait. This study group is a political move...Although the administration is desperate to find solutions to the mess they purposely created which has gotten a little too out of hand. I think this Iraq study group is another move to completely coup the white in this post mid term stage. We will see even more of Bush Sr's boys (Bob
Gates to be SOD) pulling Bush's strings.

nice blog by the way
