Often that site is a little too moderate for my taste, but the posts are most reasonable.

Cheney, Your Slip Is Showing
Just a Freudian slip or a was it his arrogantly alluding to who has the real clout...himself.
Was it a slip of the tongue, a backhanded payback for callous jokes about him, or a sign of a deeper chill in relations between [the] two most powerful men in the United States?
The White House would not give an explanation. But in remarks made Sunday, US Vice President Dick Cheney appeared to question the political clout of his boss, President George W. Bush.
During an interview with NBC News, Cheney was asked to comment on persistent rumors that he may retire following the November congressional election, allowing the president to appoint his heir apparent.
The reshuffle, privately advocated by some Republican strategists, would aim to give a younger party hopeful the benefit of presidential coattails ahead of the 2008 election campaign.
But the vice president was skeptical.
"Well, I'm not sure it would be an advantage," he said with a coy smile.
Gawd I can't believe I found the perfect picture.
Ahmadinejad, Bush's Pen Pal
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written to George W Bush proposing "new solutions" to their differences.
The letter will be sent via the Swiss Embassy which represents US interests in Iran, a government spokesman said.
Mr Ahmadinejad proposes "new solutions for getting out of international problems and current fragile situation of the world", the spokesman said.
Reports say it is the first letter from an Iranian president to a US leader since the Iranian revolution in 1979.
The contents of the letter were not disclosed. If it offers constructive suggestions on the nuclear issue, I wonder if dim son will accept or just spit in Ahmadinejad's face. I'm betting on the latter.
Bush Responsible For Brit Straw's Removal?
Now this is something I have no problem believing. Bush can't take criticism and Blair is his poodle.
The Independent suggests that a phone call from the U.S. president to British Prime Minister Tony Blair led to the removal of Foreign Secretary Jack Straw Friday.
The newspaper reports that friends of Straw believe Mr. Bush was extremely upset when Straw pronounced any use of nuclear weapons against Iran "nuts."
Both The Independent and the Guardian write that Straw's "fate was sealed" after a White House phone call to Blair.
Oh yes, Bush is also a megalomaniac and probably thinks he's the King of England too. An anonymous White House official overheard Bush on the phone to Blair saying, "We are not amused".
Hayden Just Another Repug Liar
The Fraud and False Statements statute (18 U.S.C. 1001) make Hayden’s misleading statements to Congress illegal.
So? Its not like anyone's gonna do anything about it.
Helen Thomas Likes Us
From Crooks & Liars.
"But Thomas sees a bright side: she applauds trenchant political cartoonists and believes that the active public interest expressed in Internet blogs may help create transparency."
Now that's a person I really respect and it is nice to hear her say such a thing.
