Pentagon weighs sending 3,000 more troops to Afghanistan

Hey, ya doing anything for the next year or so? Wanna fight in Afghanistan? Pay's piss poor and ya could get your ass shot off, sand storms are a bitch, the heat can kill you, but you do get free clothing and food.

Just where the hell is Gates gonna find 3,000 additional troops. At least ones without PTSD.

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates is considering sending some 3,000 additional marines to Afghanistan to boost forces ahead of a Taliban spring offensive, a Pentagon spokesman said Wednesday.
