Texas crane cable snaps, killing worker on ground
Rules and regulations regarding large construction cranes is long overdue.
Dallas police say a cable on a crane has snapped, dropping a piece of equipment that killed a worker on the ground.

Florida: Father, son escape serious injury in crane collapse
As it stands now regulations, if they exist at all (not always the case), are a patchwork from state to state and in some cases won't be given to crane companies even if they ask for them.
