Nazi swastika adorns Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Look closely and
you'll see a model

This to me is a classic example of a non-issue issue.

2010's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which includes such beauties as Israeli supermodels Bar Refaeli and Esti Ginzburg, includes a photo of a model posing near a World War II-era fighter plane, complete with Nazi swastikas.

The image of model Genevieve Morton leaning against an American warplane sporting WWII 'kill flags' did not reportedly make it to the printed edition of the annual swimsuit issue, but is, however presented in the magazine's popular website. [I fuck at punctuation, but this sucks big time]

They are 'kill flags' which should anger Germans more than Israelis. The "problem" seems much like the old saw: when you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

It wasn't published, but we can still raise hell about it because we did find it.

Now, having said all that shit. SI screwed up by posing the model with the visible swastikas which inevitably piss off an assortment of the public.
