Thai Prime Minister Hands Control To Deputy

Thai prime minister Thaksin has resigned. His deputy will take over the duties of prime minister.
The Thai prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, today handed power to his deputy until a new government can be formed.

Chitchai Wannasathit will act as the country's caretaker prime minister following Mr Thaksin's resignation yesterday.

You see that Bush? When half of your country says they don't support you, the classy thing to do is resign. Oops. I'm sorry. I forgot you have no class. Nevermind.

An aside sort of. This is one of many stories in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Politically, many countries are unstable. All the more reason for Bush to forget his plan to attack Iran. I read more frequently lately about unexpected/unintended consequences. Well, right now intervention in any of these countries will effect quite predictable consequences.
