Bushco Has A New PR Focal Point

Lets see here. Five days ago I said al-Zarqawi would be quickly replaced. To my mind, 5 days is quickly.
An Islamic militant Web site said Monday that a new leader had been named to replace Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian terrorist killed last week, as the head of Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia.

The statement, which appeared on the jihadi Web site Al Hesba, announced that a man named Abu Hamza al-Muhajir would replace Mr. Zarqawi, who was killed in an American airstrike in the village of Hibhib, about 35 miles north of Baghdad.

Mr. Muhajir is something of a mystery; his name does not appear on any of the charts of wanted leaders of Al Qaeda previously issued by the American command, or on any of the dozens of previous statements by Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia posted on the Internet. Senior Iraqi officials said they were unfamiliar with anyone by that name.

One clue was that the word "muhajir" usually refers to an Islamic militant who has traveled beyond his own country to fight for his faith.

So much for cutting the head off the Hydra. Do you think they'll appoint a second head?

Trust me on this. The American public and the world will know all about this guy pretty soon. He'll be depicted as the most vile, dangerous and vicious person in Iraq. He'll be a genius at organisation and raising money for the cause. He'll also probably be Bushco's October Surpise ©. Late October, of course, because they only have 5 days to milk it. No, wait. Bushco doesn't learn from history. They just might blow it.
