How To Invoke 9/11?

From a GOP rally in Indiana:
"Five years after September the 11th, too many Democrats still do not get it," Bush said. "The best way to protect the homeland is to find the enemy and defeat them overseas."

When are you gonna get Haloscan comments like normal people?

But you're right about 9/11 and fear. The people who are still freaked out about 9/11 are the people who have ZERO chance of ever being in a terrorist attack. Every morning I see my spouse off to NYC, where he goes through the Lincoln Tunnel to get to his midtown job. On any given day, he could potentially not come home. But we don't worry about it. Why not? Because we can't. Because we do what we have to do. Fear is a luxury reserved for people who have nothing to worry about.

On the freeway into work, I'll often see a horrendous accident and think the person/people involved probably had no idea they were living their last hours.

And it occurs to me that I might be also...

Don't yet know how to use Haloscan and am not sure I have time to "move" blogger comments to it if I do load it.
