Tata does it again

First it was the air car and here.
India's Tata Group has unveiled what has been called "the world's cheapest car" - a compact family vehicle set to revolutionise a market of 1.1 billion people.

The Tata 'Nano' is a four-door five-seater car, due to hit the market later in 2008, and is priced at just 100,000 rupees ($2,500).

The Nano has a small 33bhp, 624cc engine and is targeted at Indians hoping to trade up to four wheels from a motorcycle.

However, the car has no air conditioning, no electric windows, one windscreen wiper and no power steering for the basic model, although two deluxe models will be on offer.

ZMOG!!!1!! No electric windows? How the hell do they expect people to drive such a piece of shit?

So you buy into the effluent Detroit has been feeding you? Well, don't.

Cheap cars are possible. Air cars are possible. Fucking gas hogs aren't the only option and the costs of producing cars are containable. Manage your goddamn companies.
