This Ain't People Magazine

This may be my first celebrity type post. I rarely read celebrity articles. Most celebrities are manufactured "perfect" people and, until Tom Cruise or others go bonkers on TV or in print, we only see their created image.

But some celebrities have substance and, more importantly, have the stage to affect common understanding and thought/opinion. I hope Brad Pitt is one such celebrity. Heaven knows America has to wake up to the Bushco debacle that's NOLA.
After two days of getting his first up-close look at post-Katrina New Orleans, Brad Pitt said Friday he was shocked at the devastation that remains almost a year later.

"I was not prepared," the actor said, describing how he drove [more likely was driven - ed] for miles and saw street after street of devastation.

Pitt was in New Orleans to give an update on a project he's promoting - a competition to choose ecologically sound designs for rebuilding neighborhoods.

"There's a big opportunity here," he said, to rebuild the city using energy-efficient building materials and appliances that would improve quality of life, particularly in low-income communities.

The following is a gratuitous cheesecake shot of Brad for the women readers.

That man is delicious. Okay! Well, I saw the piece on one of the newsprograms where Brad Pitt viewed the still devastated areas that Katrina hit. He was shocked. Well, who the hell isn't!!! What an American tragedy. You'd think by now the areas would look alive. At the very least, Bush should have pushed his jackboot wearing Brownshirts in the Congress to get the money flowing to the states to get the 'party' started, but instead, the money that did flow flowed right into the pockets of the Fuehrer's buddies greedy hands! Instead of clamping down on the outright corruption of these thugs, the media & government concentrated on the few individuals who received their $2,000 card and spent it needlessly, while letting the real crooks get away with robbing us again. Pitiful. Bush will always be connected to this tragedy too and Americans in the future will not be kind to him about it either. I guess that is the silver-lining in this whole story!

Sorry, Brad doesn't float my boat. The day you put up a beefcake shot of Josh Lucas, call me.

How the fuck can he be "shocked"? I knew how bad it was, why didn't he? Shit, Sean Penn was down there up to his knees in muck rescuing people last year. So was Harry Connick, Jr. Where TF was Brad Pitt? Fucking Angelina Jolie. It's about damn time he got there.

Dim Son has many things for which he should feel ashamed, not the least is NOLA.

Sorry Jill, but I couldn't find a good beefcake pic of Josh Lucas.
