US Navy Conducts a Dress Rehearsal for Operation Iranian Freedom

Yeah, I'm lazy, but this is a must read IMHO.
Things aren't going well back in Washington. It's all Alberto Gonzales and the fired US attorneys, 24/7 on the cable news channel. What can the administration do to change the conversation? How about sending the US Navy to engage in a few maneuvers off the coast of Iran.

I lost the link, sorry, but the author said his sources say an attack on Iran will be on April 6 or April 8. I really hope he is wrong. Nothing good will come from an attack on Iran. And many disastrous outcomes are much more likely.

Check out Booman Tribune.

Nimitz strike group left San Diego on April 2nd, with thousands of sailors. Sixth fleet is ready with 2000 marines in the Mediterranean.

USS Eisenhower is in the Persian Gulf, with USS Stennis strike group. USS Ronald Reagan is close by, in the South China Sea, last reported.

USS Ted Roosevelt is reported as "available" readying in Norfolk ship yard, with RAM missiles being added.

USS Harry Truman left Norfolk in December 2006. It was reported they are training for "troop surge" readiness" by April 2007.

This is quite a surge, no matter how you look at it.

I've read the USS Stennis group will leave when the replacement group arrives. No overlap, but...

It's getting scary. This isn't business as usual nor maneuvers, its an invasion posture.

There were rumors the Bounty was scheduled to sail, but it had no crew. Something about a mutiny.

Please keep me informed. You seem to be on top of this and I can pass the info on to my readers.

One final suggestion that will help me and my readers. Please choose an online name instead of anonymous. Helps us know who we're reading. Anything will do.

Thanx for your comment.
