If only because the author agrees with me.

China, over the past few years, has been making a serious bid to gain influence in Africa. While Washington has largely ignored much of the continent in recent years, Beijing has been quietly pursuing closer ties with many African allies. The reason? Oil and other natural resources.

And I've posted about this a couple times.

One question: How can any nation ignore the continent of Africa? Just asking.
