This will be a strange post, but its my blogsite, so I'm allowed.

In a discussion with one of my sons, he said he feared me the most when I spoke quietly.

Be it known I never abused or hit my children.

Well, that isn't entirely true. Once I spanked my oldest with a piece of Hot Wheel track. It left welts and I never ever used corporal punishment against any of my children thereafter. I was so ashamed.
